Sorry it took so long. They took mom for a MRI but had to completely knock her out so they could lay her on her back because of the pain it caused for her to do that.
Neuro Surgeon said pain was not coming from her back injury ( slight bulging of 2 lower discs) or no where else on the spine he could see. They will look into the hips and other areas tomorrow as he said she has been through enough today. They will also take the cat scan of her lungs to investigate the spot shown on the xray.
She is in extreme pain and after trying every pain med they finally found that Dilaudid every 4 hours , max dosage through IV will make it somewhat under control , so she is not screaming with every movement.
She is hanging in there but is starting to get discouraged now that the pain is not from the area everyone imagined. She can only lay on her right side.
I will have another update later tomorrow after some tests are taken and we get more test results.
